Hometown History: Dr. Eugene Debs!
An outspoken community advocate that went to jail instead of surrendering his beliefs!
(Massillon): This past week; a small crowd of introspective thinkers had the opportunity to embrace a presentation about Dr. Eugene Debs, a man that never compromised his beliefs; even when he took a stand that put him behind bars.
Below is our broadcast coverage of a presentation about Dr. Debs by modern day activist; Dr. Will Cooley; History Professor from Walsh University. His address is about 30 minutes in length and proves to be very interesting; especially when he uses Dr. Debs as a vehicle to address our rights relating to the Freedom of Speech.
