Crisis Intervention and Recovery detox services will transition to CommQuest's Massillon location !

The Crisis Intervention and Recovery Center (CIRC) Board of Trustees, with the support of Stark Mental Health & Addiction Recovery (Stark MHAR), have made the decision to transition detox services and 23 hour observation beds from CIRC to CommQuest’s Regional Center for Detox & Recovery (ReCOR), located in Massillon. This transition will be effective August 1, 2018. The detox program is one of several CIRC programs being transitioned to other community organizations.

CommQuest’s President and CEO, Keith Hochadel, said, "CommQuest is committed to providing access to services at a time and place that is convenient for the clients we serve. We look forward to continue offering this critical service to the community and connecting individuals with the full continuum of substance use and mental health services that CommQuest offers."

Minor facility, staffing, and programming upgrades are taking place to convert ReCOR from an ambulatory detox program to a 24/7 medical detox facility. Facility upgrades and appropriate staffing levels will be complete prior to August 1st to ensure a smooth transition occurs.

CommQuest is working diligently with employees of the CIRC detox program to retain as many staff members as possible at the program’s new location.
