Does Rover Pipeline pose a threat to Massillon's water? Aqua says no but holds Rover accountable!
(Massillon): The face of adversity has been exposed and it belongs to Rover Pipeline. A company that is facing legal action and is now under the watchfull eye of the EPA and AQUA water. Rover is answering to charges that they stored contaminates near Massillon's water supply; charges that include orders to remove the stored sludge and to be monitored while doing so.
With stories of possible water contamination in other areas by Rover; should Massillon residents be worried? Keith Nutter; area Manager for AQUA Ohio says no! Although AQUA has joined the EPA in monitoring Rover while they remove sludge from areas north of town, Nutter says that Massillon's water supply; which is some of the best water in the state is not in danger.
