Local business owners address council about construction project that would close downtown area..some say it could be fatal blow!
(Massillon): Several local shop owners were on hand at Mondays regular city council meeting with fears that a future downtown construction project could force some businesses to close.
At issue is a plan by the city to totally close down a central portion of Lincoln Way late next Winter for up to three months for the proposed 'Imagine Massillon' revitalization project. Business owners say that interrupting their walking and driving traffic to their stores for that period of time could be catastrophic.

The Imagine Downtown project is an ill conceived and poorly planned disaster in the making. "We had to kill Downtown Massillon off.... for once and for all..... in order to save it"
